This mobile drive is available in 500GB and 1TB storage capacities and has a USB 3.0 connection that enables users to transfer data at speeds of approximately 130 MB/s– making it perfect for home business and home workers who want to back up information quickly. 

The Mobile Drive Sq is powered bya  USB port, so users can simply plug it into any PC or Mac and drag and drop files to easily share data with friends, family and colleagues.  

The SilverStore 2-Drive NAS connects directly to a network router or switch, and simple installation software makes it easy for any user to set up in minutes. 

The product is DLNA-compliant to allow for seamless video and audio streaming to playback devices such as the Xbox 360, PS3 and networked media players. Apple computers are supported by “Transmission backup” and an included iTunes server.  It also comes complete with a built-in FTP server and BitTorrent client so that users can download large multimedia files directly to the drives quickly and easily – even while their computer switched off. 

The compact Mobile Drive Sq measures up at just 12 x 12 x 1.05, so it can easily be slipped into a bag and carried around with users wherever they go.  The drive comes complete with Nero backup software for windows, as well as an energy-saving ‘Green Button’ function that automatically puts the drive into standby mode when not in use.
