About Zoe Robinson

In November 2012, I launched The Good Wardrobe www.thegoodwardrobe.com, the UK's free style-sharing community hub. We mix the best 'conscious' fashion with services that prolong the life of your clothes. The antithesis of fast-fashion, The Good Wardrobe loves long-life style.

Looking for a sewing class recommendation, organic jeans or the best local cobbler? Ask The Good Wardrobe. Soon you'll be able to earn credits for helping on the forum and use them to donate to one of our chosen charity projects. Review shops, sites and services in the directory and help grow our community.

We are in beta now so the site only has a fraction of what we want to share with you - what you see now is just a taste of things to come. We would love your support so please do join us and start to share your wardrobe wisdom!

We've had some lovely press since the launch, including coverage on the front page of The Guardian Money section in Jan 2012: http://www.guardian.co.uk/money/2013/jan/04/how-gave-up-reta...

Having worked trained and worked as an actress for 8 years (during which time I had many bizarre and soul-destroying jobs) by 2008 I decided to take control of my career. In 2009 I launched Think Style www.think-style.co.uk, an innovative, award-winning style consultancy that assists clients in dressing more sustainably without compromising on style. As well as working with private clients, I act as a writer and consultant to charities and business, advising on anything from uniform, to fashion shows to branding, lifestyle events and campaigns.

I am Fashion Editor for EggMag www.eggmag.co.uk, the UK’s guide to ‘culture with conscience’ (shortlisted for the 2010 London Lifestyle Awards ‘Green’ Contribution to London). Recent freelance projects include editor / wroter / consultant for ‘Shop in Streatham’ mini-magazine and website www.shopinstreatham.com, a campaign encouraging people to support their community and cut down on CO2 emissions by shopping locally.

Key achievements:
- LSDC London Leader 2012 http://www.londonsdc.org/londonleaders/ll_2012.aspx
- Finalist in Brand Amplifier 2012, a Lambeth initiative for women entrepreneurs
- Shortlisted (down to the last two) for the 2011 Marie Claire Inspire and Mentor Competition
- In 2010 I was invited to join Courvoisier The Future 500, ‘an exclusive networks of pioneers and revolutionary spirits’
- Finalist, then Bronze Medal winner in the 2010 World Skills UK Entrepreneurship Competition for social entrepreneurs.
- In 2009 I was listed on the Future 100, an award recognising social and ethical entrepreneurs
- A winner of FreshIdeas Events Mentor Competition for Women Entrepreneurs 2008 - In 2008 I was finalist in the BT 'Be Your Own Boss' Challenge
