Home Working Can Improve Your Love Life

Home Working Can Improve Your Love Life

United Kingdom

After surveying its members, iHubbub, Britain’s fastest social networking community for home-business entrepreneurs, found that many couples running a home business together at home have improved their love lives by working this way.

On the all-important question of ‘Has home working improved your love life, 50% said working at home with a loved one had improved their love life, 38% stated that it occasionally improved their love life and 13% said home working did not improve their love life.

Many reported that they celebrated a business deal in bed, but strangely enough only a few people surveyed reported going for naughty nights away or sending sexy messages to find ways to perk up their love life.

36% of participants reported that they work better after making love while 43% said they would even answer the phone from an important client if it rang during a quick ‘bedroom time out’.

One surveyed participant was quoted as saying: “I'm married to a brilliant, wonderful man and I think our marriage has thrived, thanks to homeworking.”

88% of members surveyed said that being able to sell their products or freelance services in iHubbub's iStore helped grow their business sales, and being able to pin their business to iHubbub's home business map was very useful to small businesses to find new clients.

Paula (author of the bestselling book, Pimp My Site) said: “As a husband and wife team Ken and I work together all day and we don't get bored with each other. Instead, we look forward to spending quality leisure time together. It's great to know that other home business couples find that home working improves their relationships.’

Within the 4.5m home-businesses in the UK, male and female home-business start-up entrepreneurs often seek help and guidance from iHubbub’ business advice magazine.

Along with entering the survey five lucky applicants won lucky draw prizes for steamy nights at Zamzam Raid and Spa in Marrakech, short hotel breaks within the UK at Luton Hoo Hotel and The Bristol Hotel, a memory foam mattress from the Memory Foam Warehouse and Ella business handbags from Mia Tui bags.
