Geraldine's Famous Home Made Bread
Ken and I love going to Dublin on business trips for a number of reasons, the most important one being getting our greedy chops into Geraldine's delicious home made bread.
Any excuse ... visiting Irish home business start-ups, getting more advice about our own new business, business planning conferences for entrepreneurs ... you name it, we're there. Mostly for Ger's bread.
And here's why!
Top tip - make more than 1 loaf, it won't last long!
- 2 cups of wheatmeal flour
- 1 cup white flour
- Half cup wheatgerm
- Half cup pinhead oatmeal
- Half cup bran
- 1 teaspoon brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon brown soda
- sesame seeds
- sunflower seeds
- buttermilk
Mix it all together, grease your time and bake at 190 for 45 mins.
Then tuck in and enjoy.
