About My Business

I set up hiviz-marketing to have a better work/life balance. I had previously been a senior marketing director in a multi-million dollar US software corporation and decided I wanted to “go down a gear”. In March of 2005 hiviz-marketing was born; a marketing services company providing solutions to, mainly, US software start-ups wishing to enter the EMEA market. The services encompass the complete spectrum of the marketing mix, including Go-to-Market strategies, channel partner programmes, Social Media training, as well as traditional awareness and demand generation programmes, PR/AR and events. “Jane made it her business to understand my business. Over the years I’ve found Jane’s advice to be timely and helpful" David Bieneman

About Me

During the past 10 years, I’ve worked with some great, innovative technology companies and people – some of whom who have been acquired, some of whom have disappeared and some of whom are in the stages of IPO-ing! I do not solicit for business - I am very lucky that all work comes via word of mouth or recommendation. Being a freelancer and working from home combines the best of both worlds for me personally. I set up hiviz-marketing to enable me to have more time with my family as well as ride my horse more often. I also find working with multiple clients and their technologies keeps me ‘fresh’. I am a volunteer leader of the VMware User Group (VMUG) and for this service I have been awarded the vExpert title.
